Modeling & Computing

ECM’s Computing and Modeling department is cross-functional on most design projects.

Its means and competencies cover the most important areas of mechanics: Linear and nonlinear static, crash analysis, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, endurance/fatigue, dynamics, fine tuning and optimization.

MODELING

ECM carries out modeling of parts in order to validate the existing design as much as to find solutions to mechanical constraint problems. All load and stress situations are taken into consideration in adherence with the certification tests.

EXPERTISE

ECM deploys teams of competent people to serve its core skills: seats / mechanical organs / chassis equipment, body...

SUPPORT TO DESIGN

ECM developed its own optimization methods and post processing tools dedicated to meeting mechanical constraint and mass gain objectives.

ECM owns the necessary means to address the performance requirements of its customers.
